Okay, now I'VE been tagged!!

Here's some pics that the kids took of me- I was gonna put a belly shot on anyway (although I was gonna keep my shirt down, but hey- we've all seen a prego belly right?) Let's see...I don't think I have five visitors to my site that haven't been tagged so, I guess Rita you're it. If anyone else has a blog, let me know and consider yourself tagged! (You need to immediately take and post a pic of yourself and tag 5 others!)

Life

We received some devastating, yet at the same time, strangely blissful news this last week. The wonderful doctor who delivered Sara and was scheduled to deliver our next little bundle passed away suddenly. This is heartbreaking for all of us left behind. He was such a Godly man who really wanted to help people- wasn't out for himself. After delivering thousands of babies, he still showed amazement and wonder with each new life that he helped into this world. The blissfulness in it is that he never had to suffer. God knows that he was going to do what he could to help others until the end- and he did. We feel extremely blessed just to say that we knew Dr. Duhart and we are just thankful that he was able to do what he loved until God took him to a MUCH better place. I only hope and pray that I can leave even a portion of the legacy that this wonderful man did. THAT should be our purpose in life, not menial accomplishments, but how WE can share God's love through our actions and every day way of living. That we can make each person that we encounter feel loved and important, even in the smallest way. Goodnite.

Okay, okay, I know that it has been forever. You all know how life can get overwhelming and busy so I don't need to say more...Here are some pics from when my dad, sis, and her son came to visit. One piece of advice- NEVER EVER EVER go to the zoo on St. Patty's day! We ended up at the Science center instead...

Picture fun

Well Kari, I had to improvise with the 6 & 6 because this being a "new" computer, to us anyway, we don't have the pics organized into folders. Ron put them in just random so...here is Sara at about 10 months old. Need I say more?

More February pics

Jacob's Baptism and More....

What an exciting month for Jacob! He got his Tiger badge in Boy Scouts and has enjoyed every minute. Of course he has an awesome leader- his dad! Then, on March 1st, Jacob was baptised in front of many friends and church family. Praise the Lord! And what a wonderful, supportive group of people we have been blessed with!

In February, Kira and Jacob completed an ice hockey class which they both really enjoyed but were a little relieved to be over- it really filled up our Saturdays! Those classes followed Jacob's Upward basketball games which, I am pleased to say, he is definitely improving in. He loves it!
We had one beautiful, sun-filled day in February and I couldn't resist taking some topless pics of my little cool boys and fun-in-the-sun pics.

In all of this goings-on, we have all been getting through the flus and fevers and losing teeth and ...it goes on. We just thank God for all of our daily blessings!
