A Quick One

I wanted to catch up on all of the months missed but I don't think that will ever happen so we are just going to move forward. Yesterday was quite a day, I am really praying that things don't come in threes. We got a call early in the morning that someone ran into the front of the laundromat and broke a couple of windows. Nobody was hurt and it is not our building so it is just the hassle of boarded up windows and the darkness that it creates inside. The day ended with me getting a ticket. It was lame really. There was a middle turn lane so I used that to get to the turn lane that I wanted. There was an unmarked car going straight so of course he pulled me over. The unorganized person that I am, I did not have my proof of insurance with me and my registration is expired. Luckily, he knew our insurance person so he called him. I did not get the $120 ticket for the turn lane thing. Now, it is just the hassle of the court visit. Fun! Fun! Gotta go get ready to open the thrift store! Have a great day!

Three youngest hoodlums

Hello friends! Atleast for those of you that are hanging in there and still checking in with me! It has been six months, I know. And I can't say that nothing has happened. Life has been ever-changing and God continues to both bless us beyond belief and challenge us. Everyone is healthy and doing things that they love. Ron is working hard to make the thrift store and laundro-mat a success. His mom has been right there with him helping him to organize, declutter, clean, etc. It has been a lot of hard work and now we continue to get the word out and pray that this is God's plan for us.

As many of you know, we are expecting number 6 in August. For some this may be a surprise and for others, it's just time. We are all thrilled to have another little bundle to love and kiss on. I will fall in love all over again.

We dabbled in starting our own little performance group with a friend last year and are planning to put more time and energy into it this year. We want to get the community more involved and spread God's love while having a blast! All of our kids will participate in their own ways. We feel that it is important that they have the confidence to be up in front of people doing whatever they enjoy. We have discovered that Cody makes a great emcee!
